As a huge of fan of Doug McClure and Peter Cushing, you can bet their models won't be on my painting table too long :-)Blaxklerichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06986635840718583767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-20896950587939059442015-06-27T09:28:54.864-07:002015-06-27T09:28:54.864-07:00Awesome job on Han there Simon. I've left a comment on the page asking for a Dia figure myself. We might be going to London for a couple of nights for our anniversary and if so I hope to go and see the real things in Crystal Palace Park (another thing of my bucket list I hope).

Cheers Roger.
Dick Garrisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01653744597413710281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-22526024711513285622015-06-26T13:54:40.321-07:002015-06-26T13:54:40.321-07:00Thanks Roger. I too love "At The Earth's Core" so I'm now hoping that a Dia will come out at some point. I know the company have some "Warlords of Atlantis" planned next, so I'll be cracking on with these figures soon as I want to try and get their dinosaurs too... Next those three figures at the bottom are fantastic, I can see I'll have to get hold of them at some point. I love all the Amicus versions of HG Wells classics but "At the earths core" is my favourite, shame it's Raquel not Caroline but I wouldn't have said no to either of them in their day (to be honest I probably wouldn't now!).

Cheers Roger.Dick Garrisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01653744597413710281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-11722936104777821202015-06-26T11:22:23.028-07:002015-06-26T11:22:23.028-07:00Cheers pulpcitizen. But seeing as it was Harrison Ford's appearance in "The Force Awakens" which led me to buy Solo and Chewie and paint them up I thought I'd stick to my original idea.

I also thought about using 'Cushion' as Doctor Who, but actually have the "Black Tree Design" Cushing model somewhere. Nicely done, Simon. I recently saw those three Antediluvian Miniatures on the TMP forum where they were fully painted and looking superb. I like them a lot but can't find a use for them. Although, thinking about it, I could use Peter Cushion (sic) as Doctor Who and the other two as his companions. Shades of Leela for the cavewoman, huh? The idea isn't too far-fetched as Peter Cushing did play Doctor Who in two feature films doing battle against the Daleks.Vampifanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11318241813130102121noreply@blogger.com
