I really like the Bloodletters, and my only fear is that once done with the forty daemons, I may look at doing something similar with my Nurgle Plaguebearers!!! You are really showing some endurance with those bloodletters so hats off! Having just seen the new Hellboy I too thought Baba Yaga was a witch, but did enjoy the first John Wick. Lovin’ “Warhammer 40K” currently, and have another game planned for Saturday as a result - Nurgle vs Titans/Primaris - should be an absolute scream LOL!!!

The beauty of my romance with Nurgle/Khorne is that most of the minis can be used for both “AoS” and “Warhammer 40K”, so I’m still very much inspired by both games. I’ve decided to base my OOP Chaos Marines on the smaller bases too, to tie in to their era and make them stand out a bit more from the newer Chaos Marines I bought with “Shadowspear”. I actually hope to have 40 Bloodletters ready for “AoS” and “Warhammer 40K” by the end of next month... and then that’ll be it for daemonic infantry for a while... I’ll be painting shoulder-pads, helmets and clothing red on the World Eaters to break up the black and gold. Think Acroyear from The Micronauts.

I thought the ‘Wick’ figure was pretty poorly cast too, with loads of flash and bubbles. Fortunately, I don’t think it has the issues you raise though, and it sounds like Spectre Miniatures are on the case.Blaxklerichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06986635840718583767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-20396879657049583312019-05-01T23:32:23.601-07:002019-05-01T23:32:23.601-07:00Spot on Phil, though that reference did puzzle me ...Spot on Phil, though that reference did puzzle me to begin with.Blaxklerichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06986635840718583767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-60419516560648787052019-05-01T23:31:45.350-07:002019-05-01T23:31:45.350-07:00I bought quite a few “Spectre Miniatures” from the...I bought quite a few “Spectre Miniatures” from their first “Kickstarter” Wouter, and they’ve just sat in their box since, so I’m hoping to get some of them finally painted once ‘Wick’ is finished. I don’t plan on playing their game though, I’ve too many rule-sets I’m currently learning at the moment already. I fielded a pure `bezerker rush' army with 4 rhinos, marines on bikes, deep striking dreadnaughts and terminators. My pile of shame contains 3 heavy support of ranged weapons which will be painted in the legion red and gold colours. It depends on what you're comfortable with.
I succumbed to the very same Spectre Miniatures figure, I too was surprised it was in resin, I went to clean the figure up and found the pistol in the right hand hadn't cat properly. I contacted Spectre who are sending out a replacement. very quick service for a 3 person outfit.Phil Curranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06828625218031670912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-7640208617480585782019-05-01T19:30:37.561-07:002019-05-01T19:30:37.561-07:00The Baba Yaga reference comes from the first John ...The Baba Yaga reference comes from the first John Wick film, it was a nickname given to him by the Russian mafia.Phil Curranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06828625218031670912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-73474685910568571662019-05-01T17:25:23.725-07:002019-05-01T17:25:23.725-07:00Uh, isn't Baba Yaga a witch?
