I already know what I need to paint for next week's Fortnight Painting Challenge, and it's going to be a little known "DC Comics" super-villainess with her minions. All I'll say is things will get furry for Batman in the future Batrep ;-) Blaxklerichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06986635840718583767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-79402925645229997522015-04-14T13:05:02.471-07:002015-04-14T13:05:02.471-07:00And supervillian badness (I hope!). The others are coming along nicely and I look forward to seeing them completed.Vampifanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11318241813130102121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-65799059349500987572015-04-13T14:13:10.326-07:002015-04-13T14:13:10.326-07:00Cheers Roger. I think Robotman is a great model and I'm really pleased with the way the Umber Shade has dried. Girder is an impressive model too. I just wish the detail was a little stronger. I have that Robotman model myself now. I plan on doing him in a couple of weeks or so, along with a few others, but as you know I'm not allowed to just repaint him in the same colours, he has to be a completely new character (shame as yours is looking rather tidy!). I see what you mean about the cartoony element to clayface, not sure about that figure I reserve judgment there I think till he's painted. Girder on the other hand gets a big thumbs up from me already!

Cheers Roger.Dick Garrisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01653744597413710281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-59159795005091485892015-04-13T13:19:59.550-07:002015-04-13T13:19:59.550-07:00Thanks CW. I've ensured they're suitably shadowed by his fedora :-) Girder and Clayface are actually rather wide miniatures and based upon 40mm bases as a result. Whilst Robotman is a little taller than I'd like. But good models and fun to paint. I think I have clay face somewhere but not sure if it's that version but it may be a while before I get round to painting it. Love the models of girder and robot man. :)cwheelerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01733801848876870014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-45907814697045692492015-04-13T12:53:48.548-07:002015-04-13T12:53:48.548-07:00Ben looks the part for sure.
