Part 2 of my “Howling Commandos Of SHIELD” BatRep will be posted soon, have no fear - I like to give them a week or so in between parts as a rule of thumb.

The Stix Brothers are now finished and simply need varnishing and their bases flocked, and I have more “Statuesque Miniatures” WIPs to come too :-)Blaxklerichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06986635840718583767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-54386813805964681162018-08-28T22:31:44.804-07:002018-08-28T22:31:44.804-07:00Hi Simon you are just so prolific I can't keep...Hi Simon you are just so prolific I can't keep up. I enjoyed the start of your last game but will we get more? The Styx brothers are very static poses but presumably that's how the characters are, you've made a good job of the previous one so these should look good when finished.
I'm a big fan of the Statuesque minis, they are all very well sculpted and I'll be interested to see how you paint them.Vagabondhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14031648950206231742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-50656019805300052942018-08-28T02:32:42.417-07:002018-08-28T02:32:42.417-07:00Thanks Dave. Simple stuff for the Nurglings, and the Stix Brothers tbh, but the Resistance Fighters will take a little work with all their straps and delicate details.Blaxklerichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06986635840718583767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-16327269761430118912018-08-28T01:23:35.092-07:002018-08-28T01:23:35.092-07:00Great work on the nurglings Simon, the Styx are co...Great work on the nurglings Simon, the Styx are coming along nicely and nice start on the resistance fightersDave Stonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13398737478468720431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-65176449430097000812018-08-28T00:08:47.590-07:002018-08-28T00:08:47.590-07:00LOL Roger. With the exception of “Warlord Games” - “Doctor Who”, “Strontium Dog” and “BtGoA”, I’m actually going to try and stick to just some of “Games Workshop” AoS and WH40K releases for the foreseeable future, so no I didn’t go for the Terminator game; albeit I hear the rules are very good apparently.

The “Statuesque Miniatures” purchase was somewhat impulsive, but I immediately thought of the Ghost in A Shell implications of many of the minis, and felt they were something different to what I usually paint.Blaxklerichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06986635840718583767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-41187375203143012782018-08-27T15:04:17.735-07:002018-08-27T15:04:17.735-07:00I always rather liked the little Nurglings, even t...I always rather liked the little Nurglings, even thought the rest of the Nurgle stuff left me pretty cold, the Styx are coming along nicely too, though I agree about the poses. I am very impressed with the Statuesque ladies though, they do some beautiful miniatures. So you weren't tempted by the Warlord sale to pick up the "official" Terminator game for a tenner then? Sadly I succumbed and have that, the Pirate boardgame and The "G of A" dice game coming though the post soon I hope.

I blame you of course! :-)

Cheers Roger. I'm not finding the Stix Brothers poses to be particularly inspiring sadly, but they should be finished soon, and I certainly recommend the Resistance Fighters. Spookily, I'm probably thinking of going with a Death-related force for the tournament, but to begin with I want to stick with my trusted Nurgle and get to grips with the new rules using a familiar force... Plus, the Ghost In The Shell/Terminator mash-up should prove a bit of a distraction.Blaxklerichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06986635840718583767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-55245343953070454612018-08-27T12:58:52.254-07:002018-08-27T12:58:52.254-07:00YOU at a tournament!? Hoping to get the Stix Brothers real soon, and then its time for a spot of Dungeon Saga'Tember with Roger and Keith. Hoping to get the Cyberpunk minis finished too as well ;-)Blaxklerichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06986635840718583767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-39859214399574590652018-08-27T11:36:52.985-07:002018-08-27T11:36:52.985-07:00Those Nurglings are great. Great progress on the Stix, they look good. The cyberpunk minis look very interesting too, can't wait to see what they turn out like. Nice read.Undercoathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01637716405557886404noreply@blogger.com
