I fear my Empire of Dust might take a little longer, but I'm hoping once I've got the Pharaoh out of the way, things might pick up some pace.Blaxklerichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06986635840718583767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-73775652813309416792020-01-15T10:47:36.394-08:002020-01-15T10:47:36.394-08:00Indeed he could Dai. Albeit, I was tempted to give the Pharaoh a wash of "Citadel" Reikland Fleshshade as I really liked the way it worked on the brass of my Iron Golems. In the end though, I went with my tried & tested Quickshade combo.Blaxklerichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06986635840718583767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1308328551615343287.post-18313554682645280052020-01-15T09:43:36.024-08:002020-01-15T09:43:36.024-08:00The Tower Guards look great and really stand out i...The Tower Guards look great and really stand out in the army shot. I've now finished Sterling the Wandering Knight :-)

I already use "The Army Painter" Strong Tone Quickshade rather than Agrax Earthshade, which is why I can see some of the Pharaoh's detail is being lost. It really is incredibly soft, and I get the impression from the 'official' Mantic Games paint-job that their painter struggled somewhat too.
