This cunning notion should save me some significant time whenever I make a mistake by catching my brush tip on an armoured leg or arm, as in the past its resulted in my painstakingly redoing all of the above stages again - repairs which never quite look right despite my best efforts to blend the re-painted area back in with its surroundings.</p><p></p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9TsoxmMByf6UkJ9pabFdlJw8_VixdRGxrDOBuqhEhpH84UnCDm1E3Yw526ujbrIdpSCSTprOzmE7JvKdSo4t44nVlojn73BadWONhlerw-RudOZY_gjNmUgv30m2XmNIYztP1D3uIP80EiKOa4jq2qNKaU0K04AYYCWHqnQOp2vQKiN80P-UXlMDAOMk/s767/GZGm.bmp" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="336" data-original-width="767" height="175" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9TsoxmMByf6UkJ9pabFdlJw8_VixdRGxrDOBuqhEhpH84UnCDm1E3Yw526ujbrIdpSCSTprOzmE7JvKdSo4t44nVlojn73BadWONhlerw-RudOZY_gjNmUgv30m2XmNIYztP1D3uIP80EiKOa4jq2qNKaU0K04AYYCWHqnQOp2vQKiN80P-UXlMDAOMk/w400-h175/GZGm.bmp" width="400" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><b>"But they kill for survival, food, self-defence."</b></td></tr></tbody></table><p></p><div style="text-align: center;">In addition though, I do still aim to finish off many of the miniatures I had set aside for the AHPC and its Challenge Library bonus points. At this stage I did also consider providing actor Michael Craze's character with some sort of jumper, as the 'official' paint-job appeared to show one poking out from under the top of his heavy coat. However, the figure itself didn't look as if it had any such garment on, so I simply stuck with the open neck look - which is actually how the time traveller appears on the small screen.</div><p></p><p style="text-align: center;">Considering that Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, the rest of His Majesty's Naval Base, the D-Day Museum and the Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower are all local, I had thought this vintage (Sixties) sailor would be perfectly eligible for the Fourteenth Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge (AHPC) and its Challenge Library's Local History section. These areas were later roughly blended back in with the rest of the Titan using a (third) dry-brush of “Vallejo” Bronze. At this stage, I did momentarily contemplate 'picking out' the robot gladiator's hammer-head and parmula in "Vallejo" Gunmetal.
